You can MOVE or COPY any file or folder ANYWHERE on your hard drive with just a right click!

Follow this simple procedure to modify the Windows SendTo menu.

1. Create a permanent folder named SOMEWHERE on your computer.
It can be in your Downloads folder or on any drive.

2. Click HERE to download SOMEWHERE.ZIP to the folder SOMEWHERE.

3. Open folder SOMEWHERE on your computer.

  A. Unzip the file SOMEWHERE.ZIP.
  B. Right-click on SOMEWHERE.VBS and choose Create Shortcut.
  C. Rename the shortcut to ANY FOLDER.

4. Move the shortcut to your SendTo folder.
    Windows 95/98/ME:  C:\Windows\SendTo
    Windows 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\SendTo
NOTE: Your SendTo folder may be hidden. See guidance below.

Now, whenever you want to copy or move a single file or folder somewhere,
just right-click the file, choose Send To from the context menu and then select
ANY FOLDER
.  Follow the prompts to choose between creating a new folder, or sending to an existing folder and copying or moving the files.  The destination must be a drive or folder on one of your hard drives (you cannot select Desktop - the folder Desktop in Windows must be selected).  Enjoy!

Follow these instructions if your SendTo folder is hidden.
In My Documents, open Folder Options:
Win98 - Click the View menu and Folder Options
WinME - Click the Tools menu and Folder Options
WinXP - Click the Tools menu and Folder Options
Click the View tab.
You'll see a white box titled Advanced Settings.

  Win98/98SE:
Hidden files: select Show all files, and
Remove checkmark for Hide file extensions for known file types
  WinME:
Hidden files and folders: select Show hidden files and folders
Remove checkmark for Hide file extensions for known file types
  WinXP:
Select: Show hidden files and folders
Make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is NOT selected.
